Senator Daggett was the Senate Democratic Leader during the 120th Maine Legislature. She worked closely with members of both parties in adopting and implementing the historic power sharing agreement that resulted from the Senate’s first-ever partisan tie.
Senator Daggett was active in her community serving on a number of boards and served as a Kennebec County Commissioner. She was a member of the Manchester Grange and the Green Street United Methodist Church, where she assisted as substitute organist. Beverly and her husband Tom are the parents of three children. Senator Daggett passed away Sunday, Sept. 6, 2015, after a courageous battle with a long-term kidney disease.
